Weekend Outfit

I've been living in my comfy mukluks so much that all of my fabulous boots have really taken a backseat. I figured it was time to start wearing them because winters here are so short (read: fuck that, I'm Canadian, eh?). So when the local bistro decided to throw an open mic night, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to pull my favourite boots out for a good time. The Italian Stallion and I were thrown into the middle of things and were both volunteered to play instruments. It was quite the crowd because by the end of the night even the people who didn't have instruments were given spoons from the kitchen. Every single person played something. It was hilarious and for some reason every time I looked over at Stallion I couldn't stop giggling watching him play the bongos. He's a drummer in a band but he's never touched a bongo before. You would never know it. He was rockin' the bongo like he owned the skins. I played the maracas and yes...well, just never mind. I shook those nuts like there was no tomorrow.

Anyway. I think I'm supposed to be talking about clothes.

Right.

Sometimes it's more fun to talk about drummers in a rock band banging away on bongos while singing Kumbaya. That's some funny shit. But if you insist...
